Tito Ortiz says UFC is erasing his legacy
Tito Ortiz is set to make his Bellator MMA debut later this month when he fights Alexander Shlemenko. The 39-year-old was one of the best fighters in UFC history, but his relationship with Dana White has been strained for quite some time. In fact, Tito thinks White dislikes him so much that he has started pretending he doesn’t exist.
After Jon Jones beat Glove Teixeira by unanimous decision at UFC 172, a graphic showed how Jones now has the most wins in the light heavyweight division (14) in UFC history. Ortiz had 15 wins between 199 and 206 pounds during his UFC career.

Now I'm being erased from @ufc history! Wow that is low! It will come back three fold. Sorry fans. @espn @foxsports

As Bloody Elbow noted, the light heavyweight division was not yet established for five of Ortiz’s victories at that weight. I guess that means he technically has only 10 wins within the light heavyweight division. But even if they are counting him as having 10 wins at that weight, the graphic still didn’t feature his name.
Could it have simply been an oversight? I guess it’s possible, but given the history between Ortiz and White we would highly doubt it.
