Algeria goalkeeper Rais M’Bohli made some phenomenal saves to keep his team in the game against Germany on Monday. His best work came late in the second half when he stopped a header from Germany’s Thomas Muller.
Muller got his head on a perfect cross and placed it in a decent spot, but M’Bohli left his feet and was able to make the save. Algerian defender Esseid Belkalem followed it by placing himself in perfect position to stop the rebound.

Germany entered the game as a heavy favorite and many expected a blowout. If not for some phenomenal saves by M’Bohli, that may have wound up being the case.
