Diego Maradona slaps reporter (Video)
Diego Maradona is widely regarded as one of the greatest soccer players of all time. The former Argentine star and manager constantly draws attention from reporters and paparazzi, and he is not afraid to speak his mind. On Saturday, he did a lot more than just sharing his thoughts.
As Metro pointed out, Maradona slapped a journalist who allegedly gestured toward the mother of the 53-year-old’s child, Veronica Ojeda.
“Why mess with my wife if I do not mess with you?” Maradona asked, according to Metro’s translation.
Maradona seemed angry about something from the moment he started speaking with reporters, but one guy clearly sent him over the edge. Was a slap necessary? I guess we would have had to have been there to know.
