Germany coach Joachim Loew shook Cristiano Ronaldo’s hand as the Portugal star left the field on Monday, and he may have given him a souvenir in the process. I guess that just depends on how clean Loew’s nose is.
As you can see, Loew wiped his nose area right before displaying good sportsmanship with Ronaldo. While there’s a 99.9% chance it was unintentional, it was still a pretty funny coincidence.
Like the rest of his team, Ronaldo did not play particularly well. Germany dominated Portugal from the starting whistle in what was one of the most lopsided games of the World Cup thus far. Pepe was given a red card for his childish antics and will be out for Portugal’s next game against the US. Overall, it was a very bad day for Ronaldo and company.
