Australian newspaper runs ‘Bernie chokes on Kokk’ as tennis headline
Media juggernaut News Corp Australia announced this week that mX — a free newspaper that is handed out to public transportation commuters in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane — is shutting down production. The free publication decided to go out with a bang on Friday.
Bernard Tomic was upset by fellow Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis in the second round of the French Open on Thursday. For its writeup on the match, mX went with a headline that reads “Bernie chokes on Kokk.”

In retrospect, News Corp Australia probably wishes it pulled the plug on mX more abruptly.
We have seen some pretty inappropriate headlines in the past, but this one has to be in the top five all-time most saucy.
