Boise State, Michigan State, Oklahoma State all wear new helmets (Pictures)

The new helmet movement in college football continued on Saturday with four schools showing off new ones. Above are Boise State’s black helmets that were easily the slickest we saw. The Broncos wore them on Saturday for their 32-7 win over UNLV.

Michigan State went the Oregon route and wore the reflective/chrome helmets for a Satuday game at rival Michigan. The Spartans lost 12-10 in Ann Arbor, but at least they looked good doing so.

Oklahoma State beat Iowa State 31-10 Saturday while wearing these orange hats. Yup, that’s the “Pistol Pete” logo on the helmet for the Cowboys.

Northwestern went all-black for their home game against Nebraska Saturday. The unis looked sharp, but the team lost 29-28. Maybe it was the pregame naps that did them in.
