Trained fighter beats up drug thief at pharmacy (Video)
These stories are among my favorites.
On Valentine’s Day in Bradenton, Fla., one man proved to his love just how good of a protector he is.
David West was visiting his girlfriend at a Walgreens where she works as a pharmacist. The two were close to each other when a suspected drug addict came to the pharmacy and demanded all of the store’s Oxycodone pills.
The would-be thief, 26-year-old Anthony Nemeth, threatened that he was carrying a gun. But Nemeth probably wasn’t planning on what happened next.
Feeling the need to protect his woman, West was not deterred by the gun threat and walked over to Nemeth, prevented him from escaping, and then beat him up with a couple of big punches.
West, a trained fighter, was able to hold Nemeth until authorities came to the scene.
Nemeth was left with one heck of a mugshot:
West was a Valentine’s Day hero, but he said he just felt badly for the man, whom he suspects was a drug addict. He also now joins our awesome list of civilian heroes.
