The Red Sox were in Seattle this weekend for a series against the Mariners and fans at Safeco Field didn’t pass up the opportunity to voice their feelings about Tom Brady.
During the sixth inning of Saturday night’s game, a chorus of “Brady cheated” could clearly be heard with Brock Holt up to bat.
Brady was, of course, suspended four games for his role in “deflategate.” However, it’s possible the punishment could be reduced or overturned completely.
Given that Brady and the Patriots defeated the Seahawks in the Super Bowl, it’s completely understandable that he game’s MVP isn’t the most well-liked person in the Pacific Northwest nowadays. The Patriots don’t make a visit to Seattle during the upcoming season, so fans won’t have the opportunity to let Brady hear for himself what they think of him. The Red Sox will will have to do as a substitute.
