Among the more popular players in Major League Baseball, it was only a matter of time before Yasiel Puig graced the cover of the video game MLB The Show. With just two seasons under his belt, that time has now come.
“Two things I love: Baseball and Video Games” Puig wrote via his Twitter account on Friday along with the above video.
We’ve seen evidence of Puig’s affection for games in the past. Earlier this year, the 23-year-old posted a video of himself hitting walk-off grand slam while playing MLB The Show 14 on Instagram that included a fantastic reaction.
I can totally picture Puig with his arms up as they are on the cover when he found out he would be on this year’s edition.
