Dwight Howard’s mom reportedly prefers for him to stay in Orlando

Brooklyn! LA! Dallas! Chicago! Where, oh where is Dwight Howard going to end up? If Howard’s mom had any say, it would be Orlando. During Sunday night’s All-Star game, TNT’s Craig Sager reported that Sheryl Howard told him she’d prefer her son to stay with the Magic.

Howard’s trade demand is reportedly still in tact, which should make following his status over the next two weeks a lot of fun. After the game, Howard was asked what he thought about his mom’s remarks, and he unsurprisingly remained mum on the topic.

“That’s my mom’s opinion,” Howard said, per the Orlando Sentinel.

“I don’t want to talk about that stuff right now.”

Look, if I did everything my mom wanted me to do, I’d be a doctor. And now, well, let’s just say the extent my medical knowledge goes as far as watching House every week. I think Howard is in the same boat when it comes to his mom.

Thankfully, NBA trades don’t require a parent’s signature.
