Kobe Bryant had a great ‘riddle’ about Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry led the Golden State Warriors to a Game 2 win over the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference Finals on Thursday night with a team-high 33 points, and it seems like Kobe Bryant admired the performance.

After the Warriors jumped out to the 2-0 series lead, Kobe got some of his Twitter followers thinking with a very Mamba-esque thought.

Some people have interpreted that as some sort of swipe at Curry. It wasn’t.

Curry, one of the greatest shooters to ever play the game, shot 5-of-11 from 3-point range on Thursday to surpass Ray Allen for the most games with at least five 3-pointers made in a single playoffs. He shot 13-of-21 from the field overall, which is roughly 62 percent.

The point Kobe was making is that Curry is essentially impossible to defend. To most players, some of the shots he takes would be considered bad shots. Yet, somehow, Curry is able to drain those regularly. You can defend him perfectly and he still knocks down shots.

As we have seen from the incredible work he puts in while doing stuff like this during practice, shooting just isn’t that difficult for Curry. Kobe clearly gets that.
