LeBron and Dwyane Wade Mock Dirk Nowitzki for Being Sick (Video)

It would be tough to find someone who doesn’t respect Dirk Nowitzki for scoring 21 points for the Mavericks — 10 in the fourth quarter — during a Game 4 victory against the Heat despite a fever that allegedly reached 101 degrees.  Or would it?  Perhaps we have to look no further than the Miami locker room, where Dwyane Wade and LeBron James appeared to have a little fun at Dirk’s expense after their team’s shootaround on Thursday.  Here is the video of LeBron and D-Wade making fun of Dirk’s sickness courtesy of CBSSports.com:

I suppose we can’t say for certain that they were making fun of Dirk, but what else could they be having that much fun with?  The funny thing is this is the same LeBron James who tweeted about Karma during the regular season.  If my short-term memory serves me correctly, didn’t the Mavs go on to beat the Heat Thursday night and take a 3-2 series lead on the wings of — guess who — Dirk Nowitzki?  The Heat have spent a lot of time in the playoffs celebrating plays and creating montage moments in case they win a title.  You can guarantee this clip will be front and center in any montage that you see if the Mavs go on to win it.

If LeBron wanted to copy something of Dirk’s, it should have been how to show up and close for your team in the fourth quarter.

Who has the last laugh now? Dirk. LeBron can laugh, but can’t contribute in the 4th quarter. The Heat are full with ego-maniacs.

Dirk is going to see this video drop 40+ points and laugh at Lebron. Laughing at a man playing sick that is disgraceful i hope the Mavs players address this issue and support their best player. Lebron looks like an ogre ugly as hell, Wade played with a injured hip hope the Mavs poke fun at that as well.

LeBron wants to look good first, win second.

I wouldn’t say that, but I don’t understand why either of these guys would be mocking Dirk
