LeBron James beats Bulls with sick buzzer-beater in Game 4 (Video)
LeBron James committed turnovers and offensive fouls towards the end of Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals Sunday against the Chicago Bulls, but he made up for it by making a buzzer-beater to lift the Cavaliers to a 96-94 win that evened the series at two.
James was just 10-for-30 in the game and 1-of-7 on 3-pointers as he scored 28 points in the win. His team blew a 7-point lead with under four minutes to play as he turned the ball over and was called for an offensive foul. But with 0.8 seconds left, the Cavs passed to James and he made a long shot with his foot on the line to give the Cavs the win.
“We can’t lose this game,” James said of his mentality during an interview with Lisa Salters after the game. “I made mistake after mistake after mistake and I can’t let my teammates down. The man above … granted we won, I was happy I was able to make that play for my teammates.”
In Game 3 it was former MVP Derrick Rose making a buzzer-beater, and in Game 4, 4-time former MVP LeBron James made it. What a series.
