NCAA rules against Baylor wearing new ‘Sic ‘Em Bears’ uniform
Earlier this month, Adidas unveiled their special “March Madness” uniforms to be worn by Notre Dame, Baylor, UCLA, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kansas, Louisville, Cincinnati, Indiana, and Tennessee.
Overall, reviews were mixed with the design for Baylor grabbing most of the attention. The “Sic ‘Em Bears” on the chest is a bold look, but Baylor has done bold in the past. This time, however, the NCAA has stepped in and ruled against their new threads, citing that only the team name or mascot can appear on the front.

The NCAA’s decision will be a welcomed one for those who weren’t fond of the look. On the other hand, many were looking forward to seeing Baylor’s new uniforms on Wednesday in the Big 12 Tournament. Washington Redskins quarterback, and former Baylor Bear, Robert Griffin III was part of the latter group.
