Karl Dorrell will succeed. He is a class act and a man with integrity. I had the chance to go to the Notre Dame game and sat with many recruits including a young quarterback I think his name was Chrisman. The overwhelming theme from the recruits that I spoke with was they wanted to play for Karl.
I have a lot of respect for Karl for the way he handled the media on the day of the firing. He left UCLA with dignity and pride and will take that dignity and pride to another school.

Agree completely Larry.

I wanted Dorrell gone, but hold no resentment towards him if he ends up at Duke — his first head coaching job should’ve been at a school like Duke, not a school like UCLA.
