Dolphins WR Brian Hartline: Tim Tebow is like the Kardashians

The buzz that surrounds Tim Tebow can hardly be explained. You have either seen it and understand it or you haven’t and you don’t.

Tebow won two championships at Florida and is a tremendous role model, but plenty of athletes have had similar success without the constant media spotlight and sexy Jesus poses. Dolphins wide receiver Brian Hartline doesn’t understand all the hype, and he had an interesting way of expressing his opinion on Thursday.

“That’s you guys, how much you love (him),” Hartline told the media according to the Sun Sentinel. “Everybody loves him, but the same people go with the Kardashians. I don’t know what they did, either. They’re on (magazine) covers everywhere. I mean, honestly. I know they’re really good people, do a lot of charity work. I just don’t know how they got started.”

Most of us would have an easier time telling you how Tebow got popular than how the Kardashians gained their fame — especially if we couldn’t make mention of Kim’s butt. Hartline instantly realized how his comment was going to be perceived and backed off a bit, mentioning that Tebow has done more than Kim and Khloe including winning with the Gators and Broncos.

The damage was already done at that point, however. And by damage I mean the next time Tebow sees Hartline he’s probably going to tell him how talented he is and how he wishes him the best, thus adding to the allure that is Tebowmania.

I also agree. I would not cross the street to see the Kardashians, but Tim is invited to dinner! He is the real deal, and a good man and role model.

Tim Tebow has more character in his little finger than the Karwatevers have in their entire family.

Hartline…Maybe you should watch the intensity and Heart that Tebow plays every week with. If a play doesn’t work, he’s ready for the next. You may not understand him but, understand this “HE WON…YOU LOST.” He’s a class act, you’re someone who probably drools over KimK ‘S BOOTIE.

Lets just  say Tebow  will never be confused with Tom Brady, Joe Montana, Roger Staubach, Aaron Rogers, or Drew Breeze.  Staubach IS a religious and family man.  However, Roger Staubach NEVER USED his beliefs to PROMOTE HIMSELF as a football player in the MEDIA (like the Kardashians). Roger Staubach let his TALENT as a quarterback SPEAK for HIM!! Oh how I miss when football players were interested in winning and not becoming the football version of the Kardashians or media sluts.  If Tebow were real, he would TELL the media to BACKOFF and let his quarterback skills speak itself.  A REAL CHRISTIAN does not SEEK GRATITOUS ATTENTION!!

Does a real Christain judge and cast stones? I think he is trying to promote his Lord and Savior and has for years and was raised by real christians who were spreading their beliefs to others. Tim lives it do you?

Miami has lost twice as many games as they’ve won thus far. If I were Mr Hartline I’d be looking at what my team is doing wrong, not criticizing Tim Tebow. When you have a winning record, get back to us about how much more awesome you are than he is.

At least Tim Tebow is a role model…Not like other football players that are getting drunk, beating up spouses, robbing banks or what ever…at least kids see him as a postive role model…
