It’s becoming quite clear that nothing embarrasses an NFL defense more than losing to Tim Tebow. Last week, it was Vikings DE Jared Allen who said he would have bet his entire paycheck that Tim Tebow wouldn’t have beaten them throwing the ball. He did. Before the Bears played the Broncos Sunday, linebacker Lance Briggs said Chicago was going to have to stop the Tebow crap. They kept the Broncos scoreless for 57 minutes, but they allowed Tebow to do enough to win. Linebacker Brian Urlacher was bitter after the defeat.
“He’s a good running back,” Urlacher said of Tebow after the game. “He does a good job for them.”
That running back just beat you, Brian. Maybe it’s time to give him credit for doing something you couldn’t do: win the game.
Oh yeah, that running back also had 236 yards passing and a touchdown. He ran for 49 yards on 12 carries. And he got the win. Scoreboard Brian, scoreboard.Google+
