Dwayne Bowe reportedly in danger of being cut by Browns
The Cleveland Browns already released one high-profile player this week. Could they make it another?
A report says Dwayne Bowe is in danger of being cut by the Browns and needs to put together a big game in Thursday’s preseason finale in order to make the team’s roster.
Solomon Wilcots just said on Browns radio network that after talking to coaches, Dwayne Bowe needs to deliver tonight to make roster

Farmer LOVED Bowe, so wonder if dropping him would be a Pettine move. If so, tells you about who's starting to run the show in Berea

Bowe was signed in March to a two-year, $12.5 million deal. Over $9 million of the contract is guaranteed, so it would be a hit to Cleveland if they cut the receiver before he plays in a game for them, and I would have a hard team seeing that happen.
Maybe the coaches are just trying to light a fire under Bowe, who missed the team’s first two preseason games with a hamstring injury and failed to catch a pass in the third. But as we saw when they let former first-round pick Phil Taylor go, the Browns are not afraid to drop big-name players.
