Graham Gano shoves band members out of way during halftime (Video)

Poor Graham Gano. The guy was just trying to get some warmup kicks in during halftime of his Carolina Panthers’ game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, but the Bethune Cookman band was not cooperating.

Unable to find enough space to operate because of the band’s halftime performance, Gano decided to get physical and shoved some bandos out of the way. You can see him shove a trombone player in the video above. You can also see how buried he was in the sea of musicians in the video below.

“That was a little disconcerting as far as I was concerned,” Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said of the shoving after the game, via the Tampa Bay Times. “We’ll ask about it. Something must have happened beforehand. The hard part is the kickers, you saw Gano got a little flustered about it, too, so I’ll have to talk to Graham about that. I’m not sure what happened to be honest with you.”

Gano missed a 48-yarder and made a 33-yard field goal in the second half of the game. No doubt his missed field goal after halftime was the result of an improper warmup.
