James Van Der Beek jokes Packers want him at quarterback
Actor James Van Der Beek sent the tweet of the day on Sunday.
The Green Bay Packers started backup Seneca Wallace at quarterback because Aaron Rodgers has a shoulder injury. But Wallace got hurt in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, leading third-string QB Scott Tolzien to enter the game. That’s when Van Der Beek sent his awesome tweet:
I'm not saying the #Packers are desperate, but they just called to ask if I could actually play quarterback.

I dunno, Jonathan Moxon probably would look pretty good in the green and yellow. I mean if Tolzien got hurt, the Packers’ emergency quarterbacks are Jordy Nelson and fullback John Kuhn. Yeah, I think I’d take Moxon in that case.
