NFL trolls Tony Romo with tweet, deletes it
Tony Romo is not happy with the NFL for pressuring him into canceling his fantasy football event in Las Vegas, and he said Tuesday that he believed the league’s motive had to do with money. From there, things quickly took an entertaining turn.
Shortly after Romo compared NFL officials to high schoolers who weren’t invited to the big party, the NFL blatantly trolled the Dallas Cowboys quarterback using its official Twitter account. The tweet was quickly deleted, but plenty of people captured screenshots.
.@NFL may have deleted it – but we still have it. #busted #troll pic.twitter.com/2kVVEyobEJ

If not for the NFL possibly trolling the New England Patriots recently with this photo on its Instagram page and this tweet, we’d probably just chalk this up to some sort of coincidence.
But we know better. Whoever is running the NFL’s social media pages seems to enjoy stirring up trouble.
