Rex Ryan frustrated by headset issues at MetLife Stadium
Rex Ryan is once again frustrated with headset issues his team had to deal with during Thursday’s victory over the Jets at MetLife Stadium.
It was the second time in three games the Bills have experienced issues with the headsets.
“Pretty frustrating,” Ryan said via ESPN. “If we knew the answer, we wouldn’t have those problems. It’s unbelievable because we let the clock run out on us a few times. We had to take a bunch of timeouts based on that. It’s just hard. We have no idea what it is. Sometimes it goes out, sometimes it doesn’t. I think it’s our responsibility as a team.”
The Bills had been forced to use all three of their second half timeouts by early in the fourth quarter on Thursday. They also had issues in their game in London, which were reportedly the team’s own fault. Nobody had any explanation for this latest snafu.
“It comes up at certain times in the game, in critical situations, it seems like,” Ryan said. “I have no answer for it.”
Just to make matters worse for Ryan, Buffalo’s next game is at New England, a place where opponents have notoriously had difficulty with headsets.
