Stevan Ridley lost a fumble on the New England Patriots’ first possession against the Denver Broncos on Sunday night. The former LSU star has had a fumbling problem throughout his career, fumbling seven times in three years and losing four of them since the start of the 2012 season.
Ridley’s fumble against the Broncos was scooped up by Von Miller and taken 60 yards the other way for a touchdown.
Ridley lost a critical fumble in a close game against the Carolina Panthers last week, which the Patriots went on to lose by four points. He was benched for 18 snaps after putting the ball on the ground. He was also benched for two quarters in the first game of the season against the Buffalo Bills. Bill Belichick may not go back to Ridley for a long, long time.
