Former All-Pro linebacker Devin White has found a new team.
White is signing a one-year deal with the Detroit Lions, according to NFL reporter Jordan Schultz. The 28-year-old will be playing for his fourth team in four seasons after signing the deal.

White, the No. 5 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, was a star for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the start of his career, earning All-Pro honors during his second NFL season. A contract dispute and a decline in play eventually led to his exit, and he has spent the last two seasons bouncing around the league.
White did have a statistically strong season with the Las Vegas Raiders last season, posting a career-high 174 total tackles. The team still went just 3-14, and there were certainly some moments in which the team seemingly wanted a bit more from him.
Jack Campbell is the undisputed leader of the Lions’ linebacker corps, though the team did lose Alex Anzalone in free agency. Derrick Barnes and Malcolm Rodriguez would likely be White’s primary competitors for playing time.
