Donald Brashear Wins MMA Debut (Video)

Former NHL enforcer Donald Brashear had his first career MMA fight Saturday evening in Quebec City. Brashear was facing joke of an opponent Mathieu Bergeron and won in only 21 seconds. Though the 21 second victory makes it seem like Brashear was dominant, this guy Bergeron was so out of shape he’d be jealous of Roy Nelson’s body.

Here are two videos of Brashear’s fight. The first one captures the whole thing from a distance, the second is a close-up but doesn’t catch the entire thing.

And here’s the other Donald Brashear fight video:

Brashear’s 39 years old so I can’t imagine this career will last long, but if it does, hopefully he’ll be matching up against slightly more competitive opponents.
