
ESPN will be running its “Megacast” for the National Championship Game between Oregon and Ohio State once again, giving viewers many different ways to experience the game.
Here are all the TV options:
ESPN – will air the traditional telecast featuring announcers Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit, with Heather Cox and Tom Rinaldi as reporters
ESPN2 – “Film Room” featuring analysis and commentary from Chris Spielman and Tom Luginbill. Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen, new Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi, and new Nebraska coach Mike Riley will be the analysts.
ESPNU – “ESPN Voices” if you actually want to hear what Jay Bilas, Aaron Boone, Julie Foudy, Barry Melrose, Mark Schlereth and Michael Wilbon have to say about the game, you can watch this channel.
ESPNews – “Off the Ball” with Bob Wischusen hosting. If you want to hear what some ESPN NFL analysts think while watching the game, this is for you. Voices are Kevin Carter, Matt Millen, Jason Sehorn, Matt Stinchcomb and Amani Toomer.
ESPN Classic – “Sounds of the Game” shows you what all the microphones pick up throughout the game. Will also have the pregame and halftime performances by the bands.
There are several radio options:
ESPN Radio – The national call of the game featuring Mike Tirico on play-by-play with analyst Todd Blackledge. Reporters will be Holly Rowe and Joe Schad.
Home Team Radio – Oregon and Ohio State’s calls for the game will be available through ESPN3.
