Jon Jones explains deleted tweet about Alexander Gustafsson
Jon Jones has a habit of sending tweets and deleting them, almost as if he doesn’t realize people ALWAYS notice when he does it.
Saturday was no exception as Jones sent a tweet after watching former foe Alexander Gustafsson lose to Rumble Johnson on “UFC on FOX.” The tweet said “not impressed Alex.”
For those who didn’t understand the tweet, Jones answered a fan’s question Sunday that explained it:
It's exactly what he did to me after my DC fight “@Mike_Liftss: @JonnyBones why'd you delete that tweet about Gustafson last night, champ?”

Like Jones said, Gustafsson talked trash after Jones beat Daniel Cormier at UFC 182.
“Jon ‘Bones’ Jones, I am not impressed by your performance!” Gustafsson wrote on Facebook.
As you can see, Jones threw the same line back at his rival. Of course, the big difference between Jones and Gus is that Jonny Bones at least won his fight. So much for that rematch with Bones he was coveting. It looks like Jones will face Rumble Johnson next and then probably move up to heavyweight.
And what’s up with Jones always deleting tweets? He did it before regarding one about Hendo, and he did it this time. Then again, we probably shouldn’t be surprised given some of Jones’ questionable past social media behavior.
