Nike reportedly has plans to capitalize on Jeremy Lin’s popularity by creating a special shoe for him.
According to Counter Kicks, Nike has created a Jeremy Lin “Linsanity” edition Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 shoe.
Lin is sponsored by Nike and has been wearing their shoes this year. He laces up black and white sneakers when his team is on the road, and a white and blue version of the shoe at home.
The Knicks have won seven straight games since Lin began playing significant minutes and six in a row with him as a starter. He had a career-high 13 assists on Wednesday night and a buzzer beating three pointer to sink the Raptors on Tuesday. Linsanity has spread so much that even the stock of MSG — the company that owns the Knicks — has hit a record high during Lin’s run as the team’s point guard.
