Gael Monfils and Grigor Dimitrov Share Awkward Post-Match Kiss (Video)

Gael Monfils beat Grigor Dimitrov 7-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the first round of the U.S. Open Monday night. It was a rugged contest for Monfils who struggled through a knee injury to win the match. While the match had plenty of excitement, it was afterwards when the real magical moment occurred.
Dimitrov, who is from Bulgaria, decided to go in for a traditional European-style post-match kiss. Monfils was clearly caught off guard and the result was some extreme awkwardness.
Let this serve as a reminder to Dimitrov: if you’re going to kiss on camera, make sure it’s natural like this one, or better yet, this.
