AJ Green shows off his juggling skills after Bengals’ win

aj-green-jugglingA.J. Green is one of the top wide receivers in the NFL, and he also might be one of the best jugglers in the league.

The Cincinnati Bengals’ second-year receiver had six catches for 57 yards and a touchdown in his team’s 34-13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday. Upon arriving at NFL Network’s postgame set to talk about the win, Green was greeted with a request from host Rich Eisen to show off his juggling skills.

Green happily obliged and put on a show by juggling three oranges. He even mixed in a tangerine for a brief moment as he juggled four pieces of fruit.

Green has actually been juggling for most of his life. He says he started when he was in first grade, and he joined his elementary school’s juggling team when he was in second grade.

“That helped with my hand-eye coordination a lot,” he told the media while he was at Georgia. “I can juggle, like, four balls. I can juggle everything –- pens, bowling pins, whatever.”

Green says he stopped juggling in fifth grade because he didn’t think it was cool. But it did help him with his football career.

“When the football is in my area, that is all I see — I don’t care what is around me. It just comes natural,” Green said before the draft last year.

Green has since come back around on juggling and says it’s cool again.

He showed off some of his tricks in a video posted by Gatorade last April:
