The Boston Red Sox are getting set for a tough eight-game road stretch in which they will travel to London, Toronto and Detroit before the All-Star break, and manager Alex Cora says his team has given serious thought into how to prepare for it.
When asked about the travel schedule on Wednesday, Cora said he has passed along some very simple but valuable advice to his players.
Cora was asked about the tough travel schedule and how they’ve been told to prepare: “Drink Pedialyte, not Bud Light.”

The last thing the Red Sox want to do during their trip overseas is get back to their old beer-slugging, fried chicken-eating ways, so that could be valuable advice. The only thing worse than a seven-hour flight is a seven-hour flight with a hangover.
Boston will face the New York Yankees for two games in London beginning on Saturday.
