Blue Jays announce all beer will be poured into cups for remainder of postseason
The Toronto Blue Jays are adjusting their alcohol policy for the remainder of the postseason after the incident in the AL Wildcard Game.
The team issued a statement on Sunday announcing, among other things, that all beer would be poured into cups instead of being served in bottles or cans for the remainder of the playoffs.

The Blue Jays had to do something after this incident. Putting beer in cups won’t necessarily stop rowdy, intoxicated fans from doing stupid things. It does, however, reduce the risk of harm or injury to players or other fans if someone does something dumb.
