Cubs players have fun in the snow ahead of cancelled home opener
The Chicago Cubs were supposed to play their home opener at Wrigley Field on Monday. Instead, they played in the snow.
Cubs players enjoyed the surroundings Monday morning as snow blanketed Chicago ahead of the ultimately doomed home opener. The team shared several photos on Twitter of players having a blast.

Unsurprisingly, the game was postponed and will be pushed to Tuesday instead.
We’re used to seeing weather like this in Colorado early in the season, but it’s a bit unusual in Chicago. Weather has been a huge problem early in this MLB season, and the Cubs are only the latest team to have their opening series impacted.
