Gallo, 28, has had a pair of 40-homer seasons during his career. But he also struck out an average of over 201.5 times those two seasons. He also has some strong opinions about the shift.
Gallo has made over $16 million in his career, so he’s probably not hurting for money too badly even amid a lockout.
