Josh Reddick, Dexter Fowler have hilarious reactions to slow starts
St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dexter Fowler and Houston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick have not gotten off to a good start at the plate in 2018, and they’re doing whatever they can to keep their confidence up.
That includes giving himself some encouragement on Twitter — something of a mantra, even.
I will get a hit. I will get a hit. I will get a hit. I will get a hit. I will get a hit. I will get a hit. I will get a hit. I will get a hit. I will get a hit. I will get a hit. I will get a hit. I will get a hit. I will get a hit.

Reddick is 0-for-7, so there are worse slumps to endure. Fowler was in a much worse state, entering Monday’s game 0-for-13 before ultimately getting into the hit column. Maybe Reddick just needs to hang out with an old friend to get the magic back.
