Report: Madison Bumgarner ramping up rehab process
The San Francisco Giants may be getting good news soon about pitcher Madison Bumgarner.
According to Andrew Baggarly of the Athletic, Bumgarner threw a good bullpen session on Friday and may begin increasing his rehab quite rapidly.
And now for some #SFGiants news that won't make you want to crawl into the fetal position: Madison Bumgarner's first bullpen yesterday went very, very well. This rehab process could ramp up quickly.

Bumgarner is more or less on target from his recovery from a broken hand suffered during spring training. He had the pins removed roughly three weeks ago, and looks to be on course for a return in late May, which was the more optimistic target. The Giants are 19-20 without him, so while they’re not doing great, they’ve also held up alright.
