
The Boston Red Sox still have a flu problem, and they’re trying to combat it as best they can.
Manager John Farrell said Monday that, with the Red Sox in the midst of a road trip, the team has had the Fenway Park clubhouse fumigated and disinfected, via Craig Calcaterra of Hardball Talk.
The Red Sox next play at Fenway on Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles.
The flu has hit the Red Sox very hard in recent days, with numerous players and even a broadcaster falling victim to the illness. The hope is that the worst is behind them, but that won’t be clear for a few more days until they’ve returned home.
