Tim Lincecum and Kameron Loe switched uniforms, and this was the result
The San Francisco Giants decided to have some classic 10-year-old girl sleepover fun at spring training on Thursday. Several members of the team felt like playing dress-up, so they switched uniforms for a while. Tim Lincecum and Kameron Loe stole the show.
Loe and Lincecum are two pitchers with completely different builds. Lincecum stands at 5-foot-10 and weighs about 170 pounds on days that he hits In-N-Out Burger. Loe is 6-foot-8, 240 pounds. As you can see from the photo above that CSN Bay Area’s Andrew Baggarly passed along, their threads differ a bit. Lincecum was looking a little baggy.

But bagginess is something MLB players can get away with. Guys like Manny Ramirez and CC Sabathia have been known to wear uniforms that swim on them more than Loe’s did on Lincecum. Loe, on the other hand, looked like he was about to pop a seam.

I hope Timmy doesn’t ever plan on wearing that particular uniform again, because it’s never going to fit him right. Baggarly also noted that Sergio Romo and Pablo Sandoval switched jerseys earlier in the day, though Sandoval was not busting at the seams quite like Loe. Alright children, back to work.
