Report: Yankees say they’re trading Aroldis Chapman, keeping Andrew Miller
Yankees reliever Aroldis Chapman appears to have been voted off the island.
According to a report by Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports on Saturday, the Yankees are telling teams that they’re close to trading Chapman away but will keep fellow bullpen arm Andrew Miller.

The Pinstripers have long been expected to move at least one of the two relievers and have gotten serious interest in both over the last several days and weeks. However, Chapman recently appeared to emerge as the more likely candidate to be moved and will be a legitimate asset down the stretch for whatever team he is shipped to, especially with the lava that he throws.
This seemingly imminent trade of Chapman should open the door for Miller to return to regular closing duties for the Yankees while Dellin Betances moves back into a setup role.
