Angel Reese is apparently swimming in the dough thanks to her recent trademark.

The Chicago Sky star Reese spoke out this week on the profits from her “mebounds” trademark. During an episode of her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast, Reese said she had already earned “six figures plus” from the trademark.

“They tried to clown me for rebounds, and what did I do? I made a bag off of it,” said Reese. “Six figures plus. Thank you. So y’all can try again because I do need another idea for some colorways. So just keep it coming.”

On a related note, Reese also went viral this week for a social media post saying that her dream job (playing in the WNBA) didn’t pay her enough but that her side job (endorsements, modeling, etc.) paid her “7 figures.”

well no i’ll never pick because my dream job doesn’t pay me enough while my side job pays me 7 figures. anywayyy…..go check out my new episode https://t.co/uAImqRFPd0 https://t.co/1Z8lO8hTvM

Meanwhile, “mebounds” was a term coined by Internet trolls to poke fun at Reese for her supposed tendency to pad her statistics by rebounding her own misses. But by the summer, Reese revealed that she planned to get back at the trolls by filing for a trademark (through her company Angel Reese LLC) for the term “mebounds.”

Reese used the trademark to produce several different items of personal merchandise. She also later revealed what she planned to use the money from the “mebounds” merchandise on.

Now it appears that the money has piled in for Reese over the span of just the last three months or so. Reese did make headlines towards the end of the WNBA regular season over the trouble she was causing for the lowly Sky. But when it comes to Reese’s off-court ventures, the 23-year-old is clearly doing quite well for herself right now.
