Anthony Davis disappointed with Pelicans’ lack of energy
The New Orleans Pelicans continue to be stuck in .500 quicksand, and franchise player Anthony Davis is sounding off.
After the Pelicans suffered a 105-103 loss to the New York Knicks on Saturday, Davis said that he was “disappointed” and called out the team’s lack of energy, per Scott Kushner of the New Orleans Advocate.
Anthony Davis said he’s not frustrated. He’s disappointed. Reiterated several times it is a long season.
He lamented the #Pelicans lack of energy again.

The Pelicans are now 18-18 on the year, which puts them eighth in the West. They also wrapped up the month of December with a record of just 7-8.
Davis himself has been dogged by trade rumors the last few months, and while he has made it a point to shoot them down on sight, comments like these won’t help alleviate Pelicans fans’ concerns about his satisfaction level.
