Anthony Davis hears ‘Your team hates you’ chant from Pacers fans
Anthony Davis was the subject of some pretty strong trash talk from Indiana Pacers fans.
It was initially believed Davis had played his last game for the New Orleans Pelicans. That, however, is not the case. He will continue to play in games but Davis’ minutes will be reduced for the remainder of the season.
Davis was in the starting lineup for Friday’s game against Indiana. During the evening, Pacers fans let Davis have it. At one point a “Your team hates you” chant broke out at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Davis played just 20 minutes on Friday, a trend that NBA fans should get used to for the rest of his tenure with the Pelicans.
New Orleans plays the second half of a back-to-back on Saturday. At this time it’s not yet known if Davis will feature in that game against the Los Angeles Lakers, the team Davis was rumored to be heading to prior to the trade deadline.
I asked Anthony Davis if he expects to play tomorrow night vs. Lakers. His response:
"I'm not sure. I haven't to talk to the team. I think we're going to meet about it, figure it out and let me know tomorrow."

Davis has already been booed by Pelicans fans. He can probably expect more of the same between now and the end of the season, both at home and on the road.
