Bob Myers still appears to be getting his sea legs under him as an analyst.
The former Golden State Warriors GM Myers, who now covers the NBA for ESPN, had an unfortunate goof over the weekend while speaking about the Oklahoma City Thunder. On “NBA Countdown,” Myers was analyzing OKC’s performance after their Game 3 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. But he got a bit tongue-tied and accidentally referred to them as “Oklahoma S–tty.”
Here is the video (but obviously watch out for the language).

That was at least a defensible error by Myers, who was referencing the shooting performance by the Thunder. The phrase “Oklahoma City shot” might be enough to victimize anybody.
Myers, the two-time NBA Executive of the Year, just moved into the analyst booth after over a decade in charge of the Warriors front office. While Myers is still clearly trying to get the hang of things on television, at least his slip-up was not as bad as this very similar one that made into physical form.
