If you stuck around for “Inside the NBA” on TNT after the Clippers-Spurs game Sunday night, you were treated to a great show.
Not only were there the usual share of highlights and postgame comments, but the jokes from the crew were flowing like usual. Take for instance this brilliant zinger from Charles Barkley directed at Shaq.
After Shaq wished his son a happy birthday, Barkley noted that this was the first of 40 straight days of them televising “Inside the NBA.” He then quipped that Shaq would have a chance to say hello to a different child each night.
Burn.
For the record, Shaq has four children with ex-wife Shaunie, one from a previous relationship, and she had one from a previous relationship as well. That means Shaq has at max six kids (that we know of). Even though that is a good amount, he’s no Antonio Cromartie or even a Malcolm Jenkins, but the joke was still fantastic.
