De’Aaron Fox had great reaction to first win with Domantas Sabonis
The Sacramento Kings on Tuesday pulled off a big trade, dealing Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson to Indiana for Domantas Sabonis. Sabonis is a two-time All-Star, so the Kings were very excited to acquire him. De’Aaron Fox already seems pretty thrilled with the move.
The Kings on Wednesday night beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 132-119 in Sabonis’ first game with his new team. At the end of the victory, Fox gave his new teammate a big hug.

The reaction makes sense. In their first game together, Fox and Sabonis seemed to team up quite well.

Fox has been with the Kings his entire career. He must be feeling pretty good about having an All-Star as his running partner now.
Fox is holding onto Sabonis like he's an answered prayer. https://t.co/nzXHJUqVEM

The Kings may be 21-36, but they’re not too far outside of the No. 10 spot in the West. They probably have their eyes on a postseason appearance, led by their new All-Star.
