Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray has been a name heavily involved in trade rumors of late. One conference rival has reportedly joined the list of suitors for the All-Star.
According to Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes, the Milwaukee Bucks are “registering interest” in potentially acquiring Murray.

Murray might have drummed up trade interest in him further with his Friday performance against the Miami Heat at Kaseya Center. The shifty guard led the Hawks to a 109-108 win on the road without Trae Young in the lineup. Murray had 22 points, 11 assists, and the game-winning three-pointer with 2.0 seconds left.

Reports emerged earlier this month indicating that Murray had become “widely available” in trade talks.
Murray would be a hand-in-glove fit next to Damian Lillard in the Bucks’ backcourt. The challenge for Milwaukee would putting together an offer that other teams can’t top. The Bucks hardly have any draft capital to trade and limited young assets on their roster.
The Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs have been mentioned as possible landing spots for Murray. The 27-year-old even had an intriguing response to potentially returning to the Spurs and forming a dynamic duo with Victor Wembanyama.
Murray has averaged 21.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.0 assists across 41 contests for the Hawks this season.
