Before Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard was ejected from his team’s blowout loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night, the big man issued a challenge to one fan he had grown tired of hearing from.
With Howard struggling late in the third quarter, a fan sitting near Houston’s bench yelled “Don’t cry, man!” at him several times. Howard responded by barking “come out here” at the fan, who shared the video on Instagram.
Shortly after that exchange, Howard received his second technical foul and was tossed from the game. He finished with just seven points and six rebounds. Thanks in part to his forgettable night, the Clippers have pushed the Rockets to the brink of elimination with a 3-1 series lead.
The good news for Howard is that he has quite the collection of exciting stuff to go home to if his season lasts just one more game.
