The ABC broadcast of Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night will look a bit different, as sideline reporter Lisa Salters is being replaced by Jorge Sedano.

An ESPN spokesperson told Ryan Glasspiegel of Front Office Sports that Salters is not working Game 2 between the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder due to a “personal matter.”

“Lisa is attending to a personal matter. We send her our best,” ESPN said in a statement.

Salters has been the sideline reporter for the NBA Finals on ABC/ESPN since 2022. She began working at ESPN two decades ago.

Sedano has been the sideline reporter for ESPN’s radio coverage of the NBA Finals, but he will move to a TV role for Game 2. It is unclear if Salters plans to return for Game 3, which is in Indiana on Wednesday night.

Indiana Fever coach Stephanie White, who is in a relationship with Salters, was also absent from her job on Saturday. White missed the Fever’s game against the Chicago Sky for personal reasons.

Salters has been the sideline reporter for ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” since 2012. She was absent from a game last season for a personal matter as well.

The Pacers pulled off another miraculous comeback in Game 1 of the NBA Finals and beat the Thunder on a game-winning shot from Tyrese Haliburton.
