Giannis Antetokounmpo on a culinary tour of American classics
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been playing in the NBA for five years now, but it wasn’t until recently that the Milwaukee Bucks superstar began fully immersing himself in American culture. What do we mean by that? Corn dogs and Kool-Aid, of course.
Earlier this week, Antetokounmpo began what has turned into a culinary tour of American classic foods. It all started with a corn dog, which he seemed to greatly enjoy.
Just tried a corndog for the first time…Man God Bless America! #ForReaL pic.twitter.com/k4RDp6nSnI

From there, Giannis vowed to try Kool-Aid for the first time. He gave that a high mark as well before moving on to Funyons.
Just had my first sip of American Red Kool Aid while watching the game. It’s extremely tasty . America stay blessed #WhatsNextForTheFreak pic.twitter.com/y91RK5IaQS

While having my first pedicure in two years, I tried my first bag of Funyuns. They where good but I’ll stick to American Cool Ranch Doritos #AmericaStayBlessed #WhatsNextForTheFreak pic.twitter.com/ojiagExo3n

Antetokounmpo, who was born and raised in Greece, isn’t stopping there. It sounds like he’s going to continue with the theme of classic fair foods over the weekend.
Going to bed tonight thinking about what I’m going to try next! Tomorrow I’m on a mission to become a better player and to find funnel cakes and smoked turkey legs with mustard! #GoodNight #StayFreaky

The Greek Freak had better watch himself, as too much of that sugary, fatty American classic food might impede his ability to bring us some of the craziest dunks the NBA has ever seen. That stuff may be tasty, Giannis, but you don’t want to make a habit of tossing it back.
