Cleveland Cavaliers swingman Iman Shumpert had to exit Tuesday’s season opener early after colliding with New York Knicks big man Kristaps Porzingis, but he’s maintaining a good sense of humor about the whole business.
Shumpert was driving late in the third quarter of Cleveland’s 117-88 victory when he inadvertently hit his head on Porzingis’ hip. He was down for several seconds and did not return to the game.

The next day however, Shumpert was in good spirits. He took to Twitter to jokingly call out the 7-foot-3 Porzingis for being too tall and having unreasonably high hips, saying he had a goose egg on the side of his head and implying he needed to go through concussion tests as a result of the collision.
.@kporzee could your hip be any higher? I got a goose egg on the side of my ?. Lbs Lemme go prove I'm not concussed this am. #iLoveThisGame

The wisecracks are hopefully a sign that Shumpert is doing OK after taking a scary-looking hit. Now we can sit back and enjoy this interaction between two of the best personalities in the game today.
